Our Economic Development initiatives have focused on two areas.

• Fundraising that goes specifically to support our internal programs
• Promoting job fairs to match community job seekers with employment opportunities

The Economic Development Committee hosted:

Two successful fundraisers

• Halloween Ball - all proceeds went to provide schools supplies for kids in our mentoring program
• 100 Black Men Bachelor Auction - all proceeds when to our mentoring program for funding field trips

A major job fair

• It was held in conjunction with our National Convention at Nevada Partners
• They had participation from Casino's, City of Las Vegas, City of North Las Vegas, and a variety of local business
