Real Men Giving Real Time®

HEALTH AND WELLNESS is a vital component of a thriving community. The 100 BMOLV teams with several nonprofit organizations to promote preventative health strategies, deliver health screenings and provide education on prevalent African-American diseases.

Every year the 100 BMOLV partners with the Black Nurses Association and Healthy Hearts for the “Choose and Move Festival” to fight obesity. The festival conducts health screenings and diet programs and promotes fun-filled exercise activities to help fight the growing obesity epidemic.

Parents and children learn how to eat healthy while enjoying their daily diet. Health screenings are done all day to inform participants about potential health issues. Health education forums are held to teach preventative measures to health challenges

Members of the Black Men of America from around the world gathered in Las Vegas last week to network and form strategies for their community-development programs for their community-development programs for the year to come.

The 21st annual conference, dedicated to "Taking Control of our Future," featured prominent speakers, workshops and networking opportunities to inspire members and give them the tools they need to further their outreach and mentoring efforts.
